Tuesday 26th November saw Beckenham senior mens first London winter league match of the season. With two old Olympians from London 2012, Sutton and Cheam were always going to be tough opposition but Beckenham got off to a good start going 3 goals ahead in the first 3 minutes. The rest of the match was very much one of momentum with 5-goal swings going each team's way at various times. Early in the 4th period, after a couple of good saves from ganguli, Beckenham drew level with a goal from Kinch. Sutton managed to take the lead again in the very next attack and gradually pulled away to a 19-14 win.
